Concerned Parent Living Near High School Speaks to Channel 6
Todd Gold is the father of a pre-schooler who came to express concerns about the proposal.
"I don't know conclusively if there is or isn't any long-term health effects but from what I understand," Gold wonders, "is the school district willing to put the potential long-term health effects of our children (at risk) for what I think is just a couple of cents to put up towers?"
Gold said he believes the demonstrators' "movement" will gather steam.
"I think more and more people will become involved as long as they hear that this is not going to be on agendas - or maybe it'll be on the agenda very late - I think that would create a nice groundswell," says Gold.
